Our Story

A word from Morgan,
our founder ...

If I'm honest with you, I would have thought I was the last person to start a women's ministry, but God is full of surprises!  Here is my story of how God led me to Feast Together....

Over the years of hosting Bible studies and inviting women to gather around my table, I learned that relationships are built and hearts can change over a meal. Through small acts of obedience and a lot of practice the Lord prepared me for what Feast Together would become today.

In 2013, the Lord began stirring something in me through Isaiah 61. God talks about healing the broken-hearted and setting captives free!  That stirred something in me. I had experienced that myself and I wanted other women to as well.

Over the next nine years, God refined me, began to give me clarity, and led me to the name “Feast” because the ministry would feed women both physically and spiritually.

On the morning of my birthday in 2022, I wrote in my journal: “Lord, I know You have a unique purpose for my life. Help me to ever be expectant for Your plans for me. I know I can’t do this on my own. It will have to be Your Holy Spirit working and let it be for your glory.”

Little did I know that the Lord would answer that prayer a week later. I sensed Him saying, “Now is the time.” He showed me the full name, “Feast Together,” and for the first time I knew it would be a ministry for women throughout the Triangle gathering around tables over a meal and connecting with the Lord and one another through an evening of worship, prayer and an encouraging gospel message.

It was also a picture of the nations: at this table would be different denominations, cultures, races, ethnicities, socioeconomic levels, and generations - teen girls to older ladies, those who attend church regularly, those who left church and those who have never even stepped foot in a church.

In spring 2022, I immediately started praying for a group of women to join me in the Lord’s mission for Feast Together. He brought an incredible team of women, who are prayerfully walking in obedience and believing that He is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine according to the power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20)

Today, we are excited to see all the Lord does in, around and through Feast Together as women from all over come to the table!

Our Leadership

What we believe:

We believe in one God that eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, perfect in holiness, love and wisdom.

We believe that Jesus is the Way and the Truth and the Life and the only way to eternal life with God the Father.

We believe God is moving in the hearts of women throughout the Triangle to bring hope and healing to women, families and our community.

We believe that God desires to heal the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom to all captives and set prisoners free, comfort all who mourn, bring beauty out of ashes, and restore and rebuild the devastations of many generations (Isaiah 61:1-4)

We believe in the importance of discipleship, mentoring and building authentic community among women and connecting with the local church. We seek to encourage spiritual growth, accountably, and the development of godly character.
